How to make a Veggie Christmas Tree
Making a Veggie Christmas Tree is such a fun way to get your kids in the kitchen and eating veggies this holiday season.

How to make a Veggie Christmas Tree

Here’s What You’ll Need

Styrofoam
Plastic Wrap
Toothpicks
Fruits or Veggies (cut into bite size pieces)
Cheese
Knife and cutting board

1. Cut your fruits or vegetables into bite size pieces. If using apples, brush some lemon juice over the pieces to prevent browning.

2. Cover the cone with plastic wrap. Push toothpicks into pieces of fruit or vegetables and then push the toothpicks into the cone at a slightly upward angle (the angle will prevent your veggies from falling off). Cover the whole tree.

3. Using a star shaped cookie cutter or knife, cut a star into a piece of cheese and secure to the top of tree, with a toothpick.

This is brilliant. Another “sneaky” way to get the good veggies into the kids. You guys are so ingenious, you should be working for NASA! I never would have thought of this!!
