It’s Spring Break here in Georgia and just one day after returning home from a weekend at the beach, the girls were already complaining “I’m bored”. Fortunately, to remedy this problem, we received a package of goodies containing the original My Friendship Bracelet Maker, the brand new travel-sized My Friendship Bracelet Maker Traveler, and My Ribbon Barrette Maker.
You wouldn’t believe how excited my 11 and 13 year old grand daughters were about making bracelets and barrettes. Apparently, friendship bracelets are all the rage these days amongst young girls. Becca’s “bestie” stayed over for a sleepover the other night and the girls had so much fun making friendship bracelets and barrettes.
Everything you need is included to make a lot of accessories. After the girls decided on the colors they wanted to use for bracelets, they needed just a little help from me to get started. The instructions that came with each kit were very easy to follow. In no time at all, everyone was busy making bracelets and barrettes.
Each kit has a pull out tray which contains all of the supplies you will need. The design of the Friendship Bracelet and Ribbon Barrette Makers holds everything in place and the clip at the top makes it easy to keep the ribbons and thread from getting tangled.
We started out with the beginner stripe design for the bracelets, that is included in the kit, and they came out really cute. When you’re ready to get a little more adventurous, there are some really cool bracelet designs available online via the company’s patterns page.
The My Ribbon Barrette Maker is such a unique way for the girls to get creative. They have never made barrettes before and were very excited to try. It took them no time at all to whip up some really cute barrettes.
The My Friendship Bracelet Traveler will definitely be going with on the next trip to the beach. It’s small enough tuck into a bag or take along in the car. All of the supplies are neatly contained within the pull out tray, on the bottom of the bracelet maker.
It was fun to listen to the girls list off all of their friends that they want to make bracelets and barrettes for! They even decided that their 15 year old brother should make a barrette for his girlfriend.

excellent video my daughter was bullied in grade school by a classmate
I am keeping my grand daughter who is 13 and am going through a very rough time as she gets easily bored. She will make bracelet out of duct tape and really enjoys that. I think this would be great for her and keep her busy.
