For the ultimate milkshake experience, you must try a rich and indulgent Nutella Milkshake!

Nutella Milkshake

The wonderful thing about the creation that is called Nutella is that it’s simply scrumptious. Like peanut butter, which seems suddenly so plain in comparison. Nutella is one of those magic products of culinary invention that is so delicious, we have quickly begun to take it for granted. Some things just cannot be imitated, and one of them is the hazelnut-meets-chocolate taste of Nutella.

I can eat a Nutella sandwich and be perfectly content. It’s the one thing I can put between two pieces of bread and the sandwich seems complete all by itself. Because Nutella is a flavor sensation—all on its own.

So, take that delicious experience, and add in some cool, yummy, creamy vanilla ice cream (my God this already sounds amazing), and wholesome, delicious milk, and you have the most amazing milkshake, I dare venture to say, in the world! And that’s why I must go make one now. Once again, I’ve written myself straight into the kitchen!

Why You and Your Family Will Love Nutella Milkshakes

The creamy flavors of milk and ice cream are such a perfect complement to the warm, chocolatey-nutty flavors in Nutella that it creates the most sippable concoction you can imagine. Kids love them because they are like a chocolate milkshake elevated into new heights of delicious flavor.

Did you know there is actually a World Nutella Day? Yes, mam and sir. It’s on February 5th. This tradition was begun by a blogger in 2007 and quickly caught on like wildfire. You know what else? There are 52 hazelnuts in each and every single jar of Nutella.

Anyway, these Nutella milkshakes will be so quickly devoured, I will warn you, they will leave you wanting more. Do yourself a favor and make a big, double pitcher of these for you, the family, and your friends – because everyone will have such delicious fun drinking these.

How to Make Ahead and Store

You cannot freeze milkshakes very well, oddly enough. They do not thaw with the same texture profile. But you certainly can refrigerate them. They will keep 2 to 3 days, in a pitcher with plastic wrap sealing the top.

Serving Suggestions

Oh, what doesn’t a Nutella milkshake go with? Nothing! Yesterday, I made these for a child’s birthday party and surrounded a whole pitcher of these milkshakes with little bowls of add-ons that paired deliciously like some crushed-up Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, some chocolate chips, Kit Kat miniatures, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup miniatures.
