Slow cooker recipes for game day are the absolute best. It’s nice to be able to enjoy the game, instead of fussing about in the kitchen. Did you know that January is National Slow Cooker Month? So many of the comforting foods I crave on cold winter days are made in the slow cooker.
I haven’t shared this recipe for slow cooker buffalo chicken sandwiches before. It’s one of those recipes that I take for granted, because it’s so easy and mouth-watering delicious. A real crowd pleasing recipe that’s been around forever. If you like buffalo wings, you’re going to love this recipe.
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Ingredients:
5 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
12 fluid ounces bottled buffalo wing sauce
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry ranch salad dressing mix
2 tablespoons butter
8 sandwich buns
Directions:
Place the chicken breasts into a slow cooker, and pour over wing sauce. Sprinkle with ranch dressing mix. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
Once the chicken has cooked, shred with 2 forks and stir in the butter.
Pile the meat onto sandwich rolls and enjoy.
Optionally, pour a bit of ranch dressing on top of each sandwich and serve with celery sticks.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
