Tips to Make Snowman Granola Bar Covers
- These Snowman covers are simple to make.
- Everything you need is available at your local craft store, or even at Walmart.
- The items are inexpensive and a few sheets of felt will go a long way
- Wrap other things than just granola bars: Use on Chocolate bars, packs of gum, or single serve packs of cookies.
Supplies:
Granola bars
White and orange felt
1/2″ red ribbon
Black and green puffy paint
Scissors
Hot glue/hot glue gun
Directions:
1. Lay a granola bar onto a piece of white felt and cut the felt about 2″ shorter than the granola bar is tall.
2. Lay your granola bar onto that piece of felt, wrap the sides over each other on the back side, secure with glue and cut off any excess felt.
3. Cut a small carrot like triangle from your orange felt and glue to the top center of your white felt above the scarf.
4. Turn your granola bar back over and cut and glue an 6″ piece of red ribbon around the center of the white felt. Trim the sides of the ribbon at an angle to get the look and length you’d like.
5. Use your black puffy paint to draw a smile and two eyes using dots around the orange nose.
6. Use your green puffy paint to draw three dots vertically under the scarf and let your snowman dry overnight.
What a really cute idea. My grandsons would love to find these on their granola bars./
This is such an adorable idea that my grandsons would be so excited about! Makes a cute gift to kids in the classroom before the winter break.
This would be cute even on things other than treats, I could see reusing it to cover bottles in the bathroom to make it look decorated rather than a mess 😉
This is a cute idea for when the grands come to my house. They always go looking for a surprise when they come.
This is the cutest thing. I am saving this for next year’s Christmas parties. Thank you for the idea.
This is so cute and super easy. Even an uncrafty person like me could probably make these!
