You’ve probably heard the buzz today about SOPA and may have found some of your favorite web sites blacked out for the day.
We are not going black today, but want to share this very important information with you.
The Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) is an Internet censorship bill that is before Congress right now. The Entertainment industry has thrown 95 million dollars of lobbying money at Congress in an attempt to buy votes for this bill. Well, it seems to be working. At a time when our country faces so many challenges, our Congress has decided that SOPA is an important issue. Really???
Everyone who uses the Internet will be adversely affected by SOPA, should it pass.
If you are in the USA please sign this Petition Against SOPA. If you are not in the USA, you can still get your voice heard by petitioning the State Department.

Thanks for linking up to MamaNYC and all of the other great posts regarding SOPA. I really hope we are being heard by Congress and they realize just how ridiculous this all is and how IMPORTANT our Internet freedoms really are to us! I realize something may need to be done to help the Entertainment industry stop bootlegging, but that does NOT mean we as website owners, bloggers, business owners, Internet surfers, etc. should suffer! Don’t bite the little guy because the big guy kicked you down!

SOPA is bad and it came to suck the internet. I am really disappointed with this SOPA and PIPA act
Agreed! Greedy Hollywood and greedy politicians!
