Fudgy brownies with a pretty pink frosting and a chocolate ganache are topped with pretty Valentine’s Day sprinkles. This decadent Valentine’s Day treat is a great way to say “I love you.” This Sweetheart Brownies recipe is such a sweet and easy Valentine’s Day dessert that everyone will enjoy.

This recipe was first published on About A Mom in February 2013, but has just been updated with new images. The recipe is exactly the same. Why mess with perfection?!

Easy Valentine’s Day Brownies
These Valentine’s Day brownies may begins with a basic boxed brownie mix, but the layers of pink frosting and chocolate ganache make them over-the-top delicious and perfect for your sweetheart.
As you probably know, I am a big fan of semi-homemade recipes. I love saving time by taking a basic cake mix, or in this case a brownie mix, and jazzing it up to be something that my family and friends will think I slaved over in the kitchen for hours.
I do love baking from scratch, but time doesn’t always permit, and quite honestly these semi-homemade goodies are always just as well received.

Ingredients:
- Your favorite brownie mix, prepared according to package directions
- powdered sugar
- butter
- vanilla or almond extract
- milk
- red food coloring
