Meet Elefun’s newest friend, Chasin’ Cheeky, an energetic little monkey that is sure to keep your toddlers entertained and active. We received a Chasin’ Cheeky game to review– all opinions expressed are our own.
Chasin’ Cheeky is an electronic monkey that races around the room. The game comes with a Chasin’ Cheeky monkey, 3 yellow rings, 3 green rings, a toy banana, and instructions. Two C batteries are required for this game (not included). The game is very easy to set up and took me about 2 minutes, perfect for the anxious toddlers who were gathered around me waiting to play!
The game is set up for 2 players and the objective of the game is to try to toss the rings onto Chasin’ Cheeky’s tail. One player is in charge of the yellow rings and the other player is in charge of the green rings. The rings are scattered across the floor and once the game starts, each player races around the room to collect his rings and get them on Chasin’ Cheeky’s tail. The first one to grab the banana out of Chasin’ Cheeky’s mouth after they toss all of their rings on his tail is the winner.
I had my nieces and nephews over at the time, so we decided to play in rounds so that everyone can have a turn. After I explained the rules to them, they were super excited to play. I scattered the rings on the floor and counted down, “3, 2, 1, GO!” and they were off. Chasin’ Cheeky was racing all over the room and you can hear the children laughing and cheering for each other.
My favorite part of watching the kids play Chasin’ Cheeky was seeing how they ran up to him to grab the banana out of his mouth as soon as they got all 3 of their rings on his tail. Once they pulled the banana out, Chasin’ Cheeky would shake his bum in a celebratory dance and all of the kids joined in, cheering and dancing!
Chasin’ Cheeky is an entertaining game for children 3 years and older. What I love about the game is that it’s not only fun but it also focuses on keeping the kids active as they race around the room, and improves their hand-eye-coordination as they try to toss the rings around Chasin’ Cheeky’s tail.
The on/off button for the game is found underneath Chasin’ Cheeky and the wheels are really great for playing on carpet as well as hardwood floor. My toddler had a lot of fun playing the Chasin’ Cheeky game and I think it’s a great game for younger children as well.
