When choosing your ham make sure it fits in your Crock-Pot® slow cooker. Around 5 pounds is ideal for a 6 quart slow cooker. Also, I recommend a bone-in or semi-boneless ham that isn’t smoked for this recipe. A spiral cut ham is great if you can find a good sale. My grocer had a great sale on hams that weren’t already sliced, so I didn’t go with spiral cut this time around. I don’t mind slicing it myself.
