If you love chocolate chip cookies, you are going to love these chocolate chip cookie bars. With all the same taste of your favorite cookie in easy to make bars. These cookies are made using a sheet pan and the taste will blow you away.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Much like my Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cast Iron Skillet Cookie recipe and Banana Chocolate Chip Bars, this is such a quick and easy way to make cookies.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

These chocolate chip cookie bars are one of the best cookie bar recipes ever. Made in a sheet pan these cookies have all the same flavor of chocolate chip cookies but are easier to make since there is not scooping involved.

Do Cookie Bars Need To Be Refrigerated?

Once these cookies have cooled, you want to move the cookies to a freezer bag or an airtight. The cookies can be stored at room temperature and should last up to a week.

Can Nuts Be Added to These Cookie Bars

The best thing about these cookie bars is that you can add whatever you like. If you like walnuts or pecans in your chocolate chip cookies, you can chop the nuts up and add them to these cookie dough.

Variations to These Cookie Bars

These cookies can be changed up and can have a lot of variations. Some of my favorite variations to chocolate chip cookie bars are:

  • Add nuts: Just like nuts in chocolate chip cookies, you can add a cup of chopped nuts to your cookie bars.
  • Add Raisins: You can add raisins or cranberries to these cookies instead of chocolate chips. The flavor is fantastic.
  • Add peanut butter chips or caramel chips: You can change up the flavor of these cookies by using peanut butter chips, caramel chips or even toffee chips.
