This Keto Burger recipe is so filling, delicious, and satisfying that it is sure to become your new favorite recipe.

Keto dieting is all about focusing on high-fat, low-carb foods that satiate the body. The goal is to obtain calories primarily from fat and protein, rather than carbohydrates. And it would be a whole lot easier to stick to this diet if they’d invent a keto bun that wasn’t overly chewy.

Until then, we have to focus on amping up the flavor and quality of our proteins through good cooking, spices, and know-how, so we don’t even miss the bread, buns, wraps, and whatnot. This burger accomplishes that and more.

Using only salt, pepper, and a hot skillet, you can create a juicy and delicious keto burger. This burger is so good that you’ll come to look forward to a burger without bread instead of with bread. And that’s saying something.

The art of the perfectly cooked keto burger

The great thing about frying a keto burger is that if you want to cook it in fat, you can. In fact, you can cook your burger in butter, olive oil, or just throw it in the pan and let it cook in its own savory fatty juices.

The best way to ensure you make a really good hamburger is to simply leave it alone and let it fry—for quite some time, in fact—before you even think of flipping it. That’s because the longer you let that other side cook and create this savory, crusty exterior, the more delicious your burger will be.

All you have to do is simply wait. I know it can be hard, especially when you’re hungry and on any kind of diet. However, the more you wait for those crispy-looking edges to develop and you keep the heat steady, the more chances you have of creating the moistest, tenderest, most melt-in-your-mouth burger you’ve ever had in your entire life.

How do I store leftovers?

You can refrigerate these keto burgers for up to 3 days, sealed tightly with plastic wrap and stacked in a storage bag. Or, for a keto burger whenever you need one, smart keto-eaters freeze whole batches of burgers in the freezer. To do this, simply cook your burgers as directed and then let them cool completely. Then, you can wrap them individually in plastic wrap and stack them in gallon freezer bags. You can freeze ground beef patties this way for up to 3 months.

Serving suggestions

Serve these keto burgers with some filling, delicious, low-carb sides like these amazing Keto Stuffed Zucchini Boats, and a side of this sweet and vinegary Keto Coleslaw. A pile of coleslaw tastes amazing atop this burger. Keto Deviled Eggs are a healthy, satiating, and filling side for any keto dieter that will bring nutrition in and keep carbs down. For dessert, try these delicious Keto Lemon-Blueberry Scones.
