Hey pumpkin lovers, guess what? I’ve got the perfect recipe for you: my creamy and scrumptious Pumpkin Dip. Imagine all of autumn compressed into one creamy, yummy dish. That’s exactly what we’ve got here. This smooth blend of pumpkin puree, cream cheese, powdered sugar, a pinch of pumpkin spice, and a hint of vanilla is a total indulgence. This super-sweet, spiced dip pairs fabulously with everything, from crisp apple slices to cinnamon-dusted tortilla chips.
Inspired by popular dips like my Sweet Onion Dip and my Queso Dip (a tailgating fave!), I wanted to bring something new to the table. So, I introduced our beloved pumpkin and spice to the mix, creating this fusion dip that’s practically shouting, “Fall is here!”

Serving Suggestions
I love serving this delicious Pumpkin Dip at parties or family gatherings. Bring along a colorful array of dippers like apple slices, graham crackers, and even pretzel sticks. If you want to go all in on fall (or serve it as part of a Halloween/Thanksgiving meal), complement it with a hot cup of apple cider or pumpkin spice latte.
FAQs
You can mix up a batch right at home. All you need is 3 tablespoons of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of ginger, 2 teaspoons of nutmeg, and 1 ½ teaspoons of allspice. This is my optimal mix but you can play around with the quantities to get your perfect blend.
If I have any on hand, I’ll add a dash of maple syrup to bring that warm, deep sweetness. I also like to spice things up with a speck of cayenne pepper (but JUST a speck). Check the below section for a fe more ideas.
This dip can keep for about a week in the fridge in an airtight container.
Variations
- Transform this dip into a Chocolate Pumpkin Dip by stirring in a tablespoon of cocoa powder.
- You can also swirl in some creamy caramel sauce and sprinkle crushed pecans on top for a Caramel Pecan Pumpkin Dip (personal favorite of mine).
- And for a healthier but still delicious variation with a Light Pumpkin Dip—simply replace the cream cheese with an equal quantity of Greek yogurt.
How To Prep and Store Pumpkin Dip
Not only is it okay to make this dip ahead of time, it’s encouraged! The flavors get even bolder and yummier as they chill out together in the fridge. Any leftovers can be stored in a tightly sealed container. Your fridge should keep them fresh for up to a week. When you’re ready to dine once more, just serve as is—no need to reheat.
