Calling all spaghetti lovers! You’re going to love this spaghetti with a twist. Spaghetti Pie has long been one of my family’s most go to meals for dinner.

In fact, this recipe was originally published on About a Mom in July of 2011. I’ve since updated this post with some new and improved images, but the recipe is exactly the same.

With this recipe, you are taking a traditional spaghetti with meat sauce dinner and taking it to a whole new level. Essentially, this is cheesy baked spaghetti with meat sauce that’s baked in a pie dish or round cake pan. Sounds delish, right?! This is an easy dinner recipe the kids will love.

I don’t know what it is, but cooking a dish in a pie plate makes it much more fun. Kind of like this chocolate chip cookie pie – another one of my family’s favorites. Spaghetti pie is a kid-pleasing meal that is simple enough to whip up on a busy weeknight.

Some options could be garlic bread, sauteed vegetables, or even a side salad served with this easy-to-make house dressing.

Can I Make This With Other Pasta?

You can use, shells, egg noodles, rigatoni, macaroni, and so many others. All are good and all would fit amazingly with this recipe since pasta has the same taste no matter the shape.
