Happy Christmas Eve! I am so looking forward to spending the evening with family, enjoying good food and exchanging stockings. My son is coming home for Christmas and will be here in a few hours. I can’t wait to hug that big kid! But before I do, I want to share these super easy Snowman Cookie Pops with you. They are made using ready-made refrigerator cookie dough, and are perfect for a last minute holiday treat.
What You’ll Need:
Ready-Made Refrigerator Sugar Cookie Dough Any kind works. Follow directions on packageing for baking.
White Cookie Writing Icing
White Sugar Sprinkles
Black Icing Coloring
Small Paint Brush
Orange Kool-Aid or Hi-C Powder
You need just one container of white icing, along with black food coloring and Orange Hi-C powder to create the other colors.
Follow directions on your pre-made cookie dough. Before putting into oven insert a lollipop stick and bake according to package directions.
To decorate, begin by making a circle along the outside of the cookie with the icing. Then have you sprinkles on a plate. Press the front of the cookie into the sprinkles so that it covers the white icing circle.
Then add a dab of frosting for each eye and 4 dots for the mouth. Also make a small snowman nose in the middle. Prepare a small bowl of water. Dip your paint brush into the water and then into the Orange Hi-C and paint the snowmans nose. Rinse the brush and dip it in the black icing coloring. Paint your snowmans eyes and nose. Allow to dry.
Optionally, tie a red ribbon around the stick to make a scarf.
