I’m thrilled to be partnering with Minute Maid to share a fun craft for kids, and help remind parents like you that you’re doing better than you think at this thing we call parenting. As always, all opinions are your own.
Summer is finally here, and it’s the perfect time to get crafting and making happy memories with your children. A quick Pinterest search for crafting ideas can leave parents feeling overwhelmed. Everything looks so picture perfect, and therefore complicated. Luckily, our kids don’t care if everything is perfect. Real life is far from the airbrushed images we see in magazines and that’s okay. In fact, it’s better than okay!
As a mom, I have felt so inadequate at times. There have been days when I’ve felt like nothing I did was right. The house was a wreck and our craft projects didn’t look anything like the examples found online. But now I realize that it’s the time we spend together that matters the most. Our vacation pictures don’t have to look like they came from a magazine and our art projects don’t have to be perfect. All that matters is that we are having fun.
My new post on the Minute Maid Good Minute blog is for all you moms and dads like me who need a reminder from time-to-time that we are doing better than we think. Grab your craft paints, a few empty Minute Maid juice cartons, and get ready for some fun. This whimsy Minute Maid Juice Carton Village is simple to make and sure to be loads of fun for you and your kids. I hope you’ll go check it out and see how much fun we had making it.
The Good Minute is a place where moms (and dads too!) can go to find kid-friendly recipes, relatable parenting advice and stories, and ideas for seasonal activities the whole family can enjoy. I’m so glad to join Minute Maid on their mission to let parents know they’re doing better than they think. Please join us and let the moms and dads you know they’re #doinggood.
What an absolutely adorable idea! I actually remember using cartons like this to do gingerbread houses during Christmas so it’s nice to see that they’re great for all year round craft projects. Creativity at it’s best.
That is such a cute craft! I think all moms feel that way at some point. We’re too critical!
We are looking for something to do that is a craft project. That is really cute.
What a great campaign to remind parents they’re doing good!
We go through a lot of orange juice in this house. I love the way you repurposed the containers to make your adorable village. I’m going to start saving mine.
We love Minute Maid! I really like this craft idea using empty cartons.
Minute Maid certainly is a good product line.
This brand seems to always come out with healthy products.
Well, it’s a great slogan. Most people are too. 🙂 I like Minute Maid products. 🙂
A friend once said to me when our kids were little, the days are long and the years are short. As a mom we never really know how well we are doing our jobs and done days it can feel not so great. Super cute craft!
I like the fun crafts, my son will love to do some. We also drink minute made orange juice at home.
