We’ve all heard the old saying “April showers bring May flowers”, but Spring is not the only time to enjoy fresh flowers. In fact, I think the cold dreary days of Winter are the most appropriate time to enjoy fresh flowers. When the trees are barren and the garden has lost it’s bounty, a bouquet of Winter flowers will lend an air of cheerfulness to your home. Even a small bouquet from the supermarket can make all the difference.
While exploring the winter bouquets on the Teleflora web site, I was really surprised by the variety of flowers for Winter such as: roses, lavender, lilies, hydrangea, tulips and much more. Maybe it’s because Valentine’s Day is approaching, but my favorite Teleflora bouquet is ‘Recipe for Romance’ (pictured above). Don’t you just love it? I think it would brighten up any room, not to mention ignite a bit of romance. Here’s to hoping someone sends me a bouquet of Winter flowers from Teleflora for Valentine’s Day!
The gift of Winter flowers is perfect for any occasion, be it congratulatory, sympathy, romance or just because. Of course, it’s the perfect treat for yourself when you need a little pick-me-up. I could probably think of a hundred different reasons to buy flowers.
Do you use Winter flowers to brighten up cold, dreary days?
