A build your own pancake bar is perfect for families with different tastes. It’s also a fun way to create a perfect breakfast for parties, family gatherings and special events.
Ahh pancakes. I’ve been dreaming of doing a pancake bar for the longest time. Over the weekend, I had my chance. My son and sister were both in town for my Dad’s birthday. You know I don’t like to make too much of a fuss, and this pancake bar was oh-so simple to put together and was a huge hit. Everyone in my family likes different pancakes topping, so this is an easy solution to that. I’m so excited to partner with Hungry Jack to share how I took pancakes and syrup to the next level, and turned an ordinary family breakfast into a breakFEAST!
Here’s what you need to put together the ultimate pancake toppings bar:
Hungry Jack pancake mix
Pancake bar toppings: mini chocolate chips, sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, blueberries, whipped cream, and pecan halves (or choose your family’s favorites)
Hungry Jack syrup
A big appetite
First get your toppings in order. I simply used my everyday bowls and placed a spoon into each. The toppings I used are listed above, but sprinkles and Jif peanut butter also are listed above, but sprinkles and Jif peanut butter also make great toppings.
Next, mix up your Hungry Jack pancake batter according to package directions. Oil your griddle and set to medium-low heat. Oster sent me an amazing griddle to use. Be sure to enter the giveaway at the bottom of this post for a chance to win your own, along with a waffle maker and an assortment of Hungry Jack products to make your own breakFEAST! Pour scant 1/4 cup of batter onto hot griddle to make pancakes. Fry until golden and bubbly, about 2 minutes on each side.
Once all the pancakes are made and placed onto a platter, warm the Hungry Jack syrup in the microwave.
I love that Hungry Jack’s syrup bottle is designed to fit right into the microwave, allowing the entire family to savor the warmth and deliciousness in every bite. You’ll love that the easy pour cap ensures your pancake breakFEAST will be mess-free.

We love having breakfast for dinner here and I would make some blueberry pancakes and serve them with warm Hungry Jack syrup. Of course, we would have to have sausage with our Hungry Jack blueberry pancakes too.
