These simple to make Flamingo cupcakes are a great idea for any summer party.

Flamingo Cupcakes

A simple summer cupcake that is so easy thanks to the flamingo printout. These fun summer cupcakes are sure to make a splash.

It’s crazy how simple these are to make ya’ll. These flamingo cupcakes rank right up there with these watermelon cupcakes and cherry limeade cupcakes for my summertime favorites.

Flamingo Cupcakes

These flamingo cupcakes are so simple. Use your favorite vanilla cupcake recipe and then top the cupcakes with bright pink frosting. Use the printout to make a flamingo topper and these cupcakes are ready to go.

How to Store These Cupcakes

You want to store these cupcakes at room temperature. The cupcakes do not need to be refrigerated. Make sure they are wrapped well in plastic or in an airtight container. The cupcakes will last for about 5 to 7 days.

Can These Cupcakes Be Frozen

I love freezing cupcakes. You will want to freeze the cupcakes on a plate or baking sheet before freezing it in plastic. This will keep the frosting from sticking to the plastic wrap. I recommend removing the paper flamingo before wrapping it in plastic wrap.

How to Get the Bright Pink Frosting

I am using Pillsbury Funfetti Frosting in Bright Pink because it is a time saver. You can use your favorite vanilla butter cream frosting, made from scratch or using store bought. Then you can color the frosting using a pink food color gel. Use gel instead of the liquid because it takes less food color which means it thins the frosting less.
