May the 4th be with you! Did you know that today, May 4, is Star Wars Day? I have some adorable Baby Yoda Cookies that are perfect for the celebration. Requiring few ingredients, these dipped OREO no-bake Baby Yoda cookies are super easy to make and taste amazing.

Baby Yoda Oreos

I absolutely love creating treats with OREO Cookies and candy melts. Baby Yoda ranks right up there with these OREO Cookie Sharks as one of my favorites. It is also fun to make these into cookie pops by inserting a popsicle stick, like I did with these Patriotic OREO Pops.

If you’re looking for more fun treats, be sure to also check out these Sailboat Cupcakes and totally adorable Sheep Cupcakes. You also can’t go wrong with Banana Sushi.

Baby Yoda Cookies

If you haven’t seen the Baby Yoda that has taken over the internet in Facebook steams and memes everywhere, you are missing something extremely cute. There is no better time to make this adorable Baby Yoda Oreo Cookie Dessert.

When is a Good Time to Make Baby Yoda Cookies?

We’ve already established that Star Wars Day is the perfect time to make these cookies, but I think it is better to say, when shouldn’t these Baby Yoda cookies be made. But if you are looking for a specific occasion or reason, these Baby Yoda treats are great for:

  • May the 4th
  • Bake Sales
  • Birthday Parties
  • Class parties

How to Store These Cookies

You want to store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. If these cookies are stored in the refrigerator, the cookies will become soft and they will taste stale.

Baby Yoda Oreos ingredients

Ingredients

  • Oreo Cookies
  • Green candy melts
  • Brown mini M&Ms
  • Whole almonds

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare a baking sheet or cutting board with waxed paper.

Step 2: Melt the candy coating according to package directions giving special care not to overheat the candy. If the candy coating is overheated, it will be too thick. You can add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening to help thin the candy but do not add any other type of liquid as the candy will seize and harden.

Step 3: One at a time, use a candy dipper to cover whole almonds in the melted candy and tap to allow the excess to return to the bowl. Transfer the almonds to waxed paper and allow to dry completely.

Step 4: Next, dip each cookie into the candy melts to coat completely. Shake to remove excess candy and then place on waxed paper.

Step 5: Immediately add the candy eyes and almond (ears).

Step 6: Allow candy coating to harden completely. Then, using a toothpick, scratch a nose into the candy between the eyes, lines on the forehead, and lines over the eyes.

Step 7: All to dry completely before packaging or serving.
