How to Store Pea Salad

You can be finished serving your pea salad and then, add it into an airtight container. You will need to place it in the fridge to keep it from going bad. I don’t recommend placing it in the freezer. However, depending on the length of time you have it in there it should be fine.

The average time this salad will last is about 3 days. This recipe will need to be placed in an airtight container to keep from going bad. This recipe will not last at room temperature for a long period of time, so be sure to place it in the fridge.

Ingredients

Frozen peas – Make sure the peas are thawed and drained
Bacon – Cut the bacon into small pieces and cooked
Shredded Monterey Jack cheese – This can be shredded by you or buy pre-shredded
Shredded Cheddar cheese- This can be shredded when you buy it or use block cheese and shred it yourself
Red onion- Dice this into small pieces
Mayonnaise- You can use mayo or a lighter version like Miracle Whip.
Salt and pepper– This is a preference on how much to use, however, make sure you season the salad.

How to Make this Salad

In a large bowl, combine peas, bacon, cheeses, onion, and mayonnaise.

Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
