Give your morning a sweet kickstart with this amazing Coffee Smoothie Recipe.

Moms, you’ll love these coffee smoothies for when you need to get up, get hydrated, get alert, get focused, and find the XBOX remote, the TV remote, the Roku remote, the PlayStation remote, the Nintendo Switch remote, the Apple TV remote, and the VR headset remote.

Moms, I know your pain.

The sheer finding of all said remotes necessitates coffee.

But sometimes, we want a new and exciting way to get that caffeine besides that usual old coffee and creamer combo, don’t we?

What I’ve found is that a good coffee smoothie gives me both the caffeine energy and nutrition infusion I need, no matter how many remotes I have to find a day.

Packed with nutrient-dense and good-for-you things like a banana, freshly brewed coffee, almond milk, almond butter, vanilla, and cinnamon, you can feel good about getting your morning java with this nutritious smoothie. It gets you up and alert, but healthily.

Why Moms NEED Coffee Smoothies

I love making this delicious coffee smoothie absolutely anytime, because:

  1. It’s sweet yet nutritious
  2. It brings the wake-up factor, major
  3. It has zero added sugar whatsoever.
  4. It even wakes you up enough for … twins! Twin three-year-old girls freshly awoken from their slumber.

But … moms … know this. These coffee smoothies look oh-so-deliciously like a Triple Chocolate Cake Batter Milkshake that you might just get a little bit of harassment from any nearby wee ones …

“What are you drinking, Wonna?” Chloe asks sleepily, rubbing her eyes as I quietly unpack their meal containers from my big, double-foil-lined paper bag.

“A coffee smoothie,” I reply in a very adult and matter-of-fact voice that is supposed to convey authority. I was trying to set healthy boundaries and, most of all, to … protect my smoothie.

Perhaps it is called selective hearing in toddlers, this strong will they have to hear the word “chocolate” no matter what word I say that starts with the letter “C.”

“Oh boy! Chocolate smoothies!” Two girls leap up and down excitedly, two girls who need no coffee anything whatsoever.

If only adults could bottle three-year-old energy and put that into a smoothie … wouldn’t that be quite something?

How To Make Ahead And Store

You can refrigerate these coffee smoothies for up to 2 days. To make several batches of these to freeze, I recommend freezing your smoothies in those silicone Souper Cubes trays. These silicone ice trays are easy to bend, aim, and deposit those frozen cubes right into any kind of glass or cup.

Serving Suggestions

I enjoy these bitter-licious coffee smoothies with some sweet breakfast accompaniments, like this amazing Bananas Foster French Toast or this healthy Fruit and Nut Oatmeal Bowl. Or for an amazing breakfast that kids go “Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs” for … these delicious and surprisingly easy Banana Split Crepes.

If you loved this coffee smoothie, try this amazing Peanut Butter Milkshake, or this luscious Peach Milkshake next.
